The NEB catalog highlights a wide variety of enzyme functionalities found in nature or engineered for specific purposes. However, in molecular biology, new tools can often lead to new discoveries. Taking advantage of the enzymology expertise at NEB, we are offering novel enzymes with interesting and unique activities for manipulating DNA, RNA, proteins and glycans, even if specific applications for them have yet to be discovered. Our hope is that by engaging researcher’s imaginations, our “Enzymes for Innovation” initiative will enable the development of new molecular techniques that so often lead to new discoveries.
